Congratulations and sympathy!

24 June 2018
Congratulations and sympathy!
SLC was known as an iron gate in the history of school level education in Nepal. Everywhere everyone used to talk about the students who used to appear in the SLC examination in Nepal. The result was the matter of pride. Yesterday, the result of SEE was out. Congratulations to all examinees who appeared in the SEE and scored different grade. Being a teacher, I congratulate you all who appeared on the SEE exam from every school in Nepal. Before the exam, every teacher, and his/her guardians advise his/her students or children to carry A+ but when the results publish they have to console them that they have to be satisfied with the grade they scored. I would like to extend my hearty congratulations to all who have had outstanding performance and sympathy to those who have scored below grade. Human life without achievement and failure won't be successful. You took the exam, that's great because you have had experience. Our human life is for the experience. You got it. Those who have had A+ are not permanently excellent. This is only for the entrance for 11 grade. The further trial is following you and you should prove your worth in future trials too.
Being a teacher from Pashupati Mitra Secondary School, Chabahil, I would like to congratulate all 68 students who appeared in the SEE exam and performed their skill on writing. Among 68 students, they were able to achieve the following grading
A = 4
B+= 10
B= 28
C+= 19 and
C= 7.
This time there is not anyone who've scored A+ in our school. Don't worry about it but promise yourself and determine to carry it in future trials. This is the least no of students appeared in the SEE exam from this school too. In totality, the result is satisfactory. Our entire team is worried about the future of school and students as well. We are doing hard from our side. My appeal at this moment to the local inhabitants of Chabahil is to visit the school and see what's going on here. School is waiting for your guidance, advice and your kids who can enjoy and flourish their career from the holiest name Pashupati. If you send your kids here, they can shape their future too. You don't need a huge amount for school education. This school is going to run grade 11 from this academic year 2075/2076. Send your kids here for grade 11 study too. We entire team of Pashupati will do our best to satisfy you and your children's performance. We will try our best to satisfy you.
My 25 years of teaching experience says that a teacher can do nothing but can show the way to his learners to walk. It is the student or the learner who is all in all. Students who follow the teachers' guidance can perform better and those who do not follow the instructions given by teachers and guardians fall behind. If there is an illusion in teachers, students, guardians and others that it was the output of their hard toil that the higher scores are due to their effort. If the score A+ is the output of teachers' effort, what about the gade D and E? Once Rabindranath Tagore's tutor said that his mind was filled with cow's dung. But later he became the first Asian to achieve Nobel Prize. Everyone cannot be on top forever. He has to be up and down. It is life. When something touches the learners, they change themselves to get motivated to study. Let opportunity be provided to all equally. Let's conserve our community schools for the future generation. It is the common property of the general public. But private schools belong to a person or a group. They are profit oriented but community schools are service oriented. If we have the positive attitude, we can change the concept. If we change the concept, we can change our educational environment too.
Let education flourish and our nation too.

A frog in a well

22 June 2018
A frog in a well cannot possess creative thinking. If there is no thinking, there is no discovery. If there is no discovery, there won't be any changes in our lives and in our community. Therefore, to have a change in our thought whether we have to study or travel or imagine or experience in our own ways. If we are too self-centred, we can do no welfare for the sake of human community or the organizations where we are. We may flourish in our career but the organizations may not. If the head of the organization cannot change the organization, his/her prosperity does not have any sense. Therefore, we have to see the world how it looks and we have to make the world how we imagine.
To make the world different, there must be changes in out looking. A man in long beard or hair if seen shaved, people who know him feel confused. If a barren field seems with greenery, a traveller has to think or confirm his or destination before marching forward. In the same way, the Prime Minister of a nation should not shout but find the ways for the overall progress of the nation. Present Prime Minister, Ministers, President and another honourable one should not have rights to blame to the Ranas and Shahs of the past it's because they have not changed but are following what the previous rulers used to do. They used to be surrounded by security personnel they are doing the same. They were out of access to the general people. So they are. They used to be like rulers and master but now they seem as they are. To be different, they should have their own dream to change and to be changed. Rabindranath Tagore was better than the present rulers of Nepal it's because he was Rabindranath Tagore who created Malini and made her go out of the palace to know what the human life is. To understand human life, everyone has to know what the suffering is, what the happiness is, what hardship is, what an excitement is, what the hunger is, what the thirst is and others.
Barking dog seldom bites. Let this proverb be the failure in the context of Nepal. Our Prime Minister speaks more but his election slogan has not been addressed. His speech about the allowance to the elderly Nepali upto RS 5000/ per citizen has been viral on electronic media. Political leaders should not deliver the speech only to motivate voters to cast. Oli's speech has been viral. Let me ask a question - Can't elderly Nepalese writ to the court against the PM of Nepal? What he promised to the Nepalese and won the election but the budget didn't address to his speech. Every leader should keep to their word. If the PM lies, who tell the truth? He announced that he is not the ruler but the server/ servant of the nation. What a great view he spoke. Let it be true in reality.

My visit to two schools

17 June 2018
My visit to two schools
Today I did nothing but just wandered around the place where I spent the most fertile life of my teaching career. After seeing my Vanji Ichha off at Tribhuvan International airport I headed towards Tarkeshwor on my bike to meet my colleagues and receive the laptop cover that I left on 26 Jestha at Kaushal English Boarding School where I was assigned to be a judge of inter-school speech competition. Let me express my gratitude to Mr. Sudershan Khatiwada, Shivaraj Aryal and the entire organizer team who have begun to sprout learners' skill. I received the laptop cover and went to see Ram Prasad Timilsena my colleague with whom I spent a year at Prithivi Narayan Secondary School, Goldhunga, Kathmandu. He has run a petrol pump. I could not meet him there. Then I reached Jitpurfedi Secondary School where I taught in informal classes for 10-grade students in 2056. I met my colleagues and moved to Prrithivi Narayan Secondary School from where I have begun my teaching career at the community school.
When I reached there Narayan, the headteacher of the same school felt excited and showed me the running classes. The school has done a lot since its establishment. Other community schools don't get students to admit but this one had to say 'No admission for more than 200 students' due to the lack of classrooms and teaching staff. Has it not been a model school? After a few minutes of talking, Narayan Sir took me to a class where grade 10 students were practicing mathematics. I entered the class and all of the students were excited to see me there. When I introduced to them, they were pleased to see a book writer in front of them. All of the students were communicative. They could communicate in English easily.
Then I asked them to use an action verb 'write' and make sentences differently. They used to make sentence only in a simple sentence like -Subject +Verb+ object. Every student said only like-I write a poem. It's okay. I responded. Then I asked them to tell me a sentence differently. They said similar sentences. In the end, I gave them a hint to use the verb 'write' differently in a sentence. I spoke sentence-Smoking is injurious to us and ask them to use 'write' in the place of smoking. Then they were able to make a sentence using writing. Writing a page makes you a good writer in future. Indeed, yes they grasped. Again I asked them to use the verb differently and make another sentence. They felt confused and I wrote -To and ask them to make a sentence. They were in dilemma. Finally, I wrote a sentence- To write a poem, you need effort. I asked them to make their own sentence. They were able to do. Again I asked them if they could use the verb 'write' and make a sentence differently. They tried but they couldn't as I thought. I wrote a sentence -If you write poems, you can earn money. I advised them to use the same action verbs differently to make their writing impressive. Reading a text means not only to know what is there but to make it useful in their own context. for instance-Reading, a travelogue means, every student has to be able to write their own travelogue. Reading a sentence means every student has to create a similar type of sentence of their own.
I talked about a sentence that is in grade seven English-Dharahara is on the southwest tip of Tundikhel. If a student knows how to use this sentence in his own way he can write an essay of his own words. I served some ideas there. Finally, I narrated two stories about Dhruva and Krishna his childhood friend Sudama, and his spouse Basundhara and came out of the classroom. Later I entered the next section and gave them an idea to make different sentences using 'play' verb. I did same as in the previous class. After the last bell, Narayan sir and I had Khaja and departed to see Harikrishna Neupane. After having a glass of tea, Neupane sir bid me goodbye with green vegetables. When I was about to ride my motorbike Yadab Dhital and the next one greeted me with Namaste then we headed to our destination. I met other colleagues there and returned to my shelter at 6 pm. The whole day energized me and felt fresh.

My visit to Amar Jyoti Secondary School,Syuchatar, Kathmandu

18 June 2018
My visit to Amar Jyoti Secondary School,Syuchatar, Kathmandu
After having lunch I visited my friend and teachers' Leader Sundar Panta at his school , Amar Jyoti Secondary School,Syuchatar, Kathmandu. I along with my youngest Kid Prama went there on my bike. When we reached there we saw Sundar sir talking with a middle-aged man and a young girl. The young girl was there to make various animals' sound. During the short recess, she made sounds of animals and birds. Students and teachers listened to her and donated her how they could. It was wonderful time for me to meet Binod Dubadi who teaches English there. He asked me to take one class. I accepted it and enjoyed there. My focus was to make students apply in their own life what they learn at school from the textbook.
When Dubadi Sir introduced me to students as a book writer they were excited and curious to know how it could be possible. I advised them not to read any text to gain the knowledge of the prescribed text only but also find how other forms of writing are applied. How punctuation is used. I gave them one example from grade seven English book -Dharahara is on the southwest tip of Tudikhel. I asked them to memorize them this sentence and try to find the location of the place where they are from. If students are able to use this sentence to use according to their context, they can write a paragraph or an article on the place they are assigned to write. In the same way, I showed how prepositions are used and of great importance in writing. Meanwhile, I did not forget to talk about adjectives. If students are good at using action words differently, preposition and adjectives, their writing can impress their audiences. Writing means pleasing to their audience. Students write to score good letter grade or a literateur writes to entertain his audiences or inform his audiences or other purposes.
In the end, I suggested them to be like Sudama and his spouse Bashundhara who had presented themselves as the supreme model of humanity, honesty, and responsibility. I took the name of Anne Frank, Rabindranath Tagore, Socrates and Jhamak Ghimire to make them realize that how writing is of great importance. Everyone can write any happening and narrates it well, it can be a good narrative story. More than 30 millions diary of Anne Frank's has been sold in the market. If anyone writes a good diary, publishes and gets the audience, it can be the source of income, name, and fame too. I gave them various sentences structure to write and suggested them to apply in their writing. I found students avid, sincere and communicative too.
After having Khaja in canteen offered by Dubadi sir, we talked about the present scenario of school level education. Students don't pay as much attention as the previous students used to. Presents students are equipped with modern technology like mobile, and remain busy at Facebook and other. They don't spend more time on study. These devices have been the hindrances for the learners. I felt glad seeing the school marching forward in every sector of education. I want to congratulate the entire team for their unity and devotion to the progress of the school. It has been one of the flourishing schools of that locality. Though it has congested premise, every piece of land has properly been used and buildings have been constructed and painted. Finally, I returned home from the school at three and arrived at 4 pm. Then how I felt about the day, I mentioned it on my status. Thank you, the entire team, for letting me there at your space and share my experience.

patriotic

Chandra Kanta Pandit Agreed but still doubt. I have hardly seen anyone living in the same place but the identity of the same soil has been changed. Let me serve me as an example. I was born in Rupakot Panchayat, then grown up in Sishuwa VDC, completed SLC from the Sishuwa VDC, later it became Lekhnath municipality, finally it has been the biggest metropolitan city of Nepal, named Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan city and ward nos differ but the place is the same. I have been struggling with dust, dirt, pollution, and injustice here in Kathmandu since 2048. I have spent nearly 27 years here in Kathmandu. Now could I claim myself as patriotic or not? I am living in Nepal, working for Nepal but ignoring the soil where I was born, grown up and made me able to be here in Kathmandu. I have the only nostalgia of the past, I could hardly remember the hazel in the forest, eel in the river, swimming in Rupa lake and Talkhola taking the clothes off and diving from the high cliff, grazing cattle in the deep forest and meadow, swinging like monkeys on Banyan and poplar trees, and my childhood friends with whom I used to play handmade ball putting pieces of clothes in the sock and sewing them making round as like a ball. I couldn't forget how I chopped snake while cutting grass, how I took out a long snake from the hole in the water thinking as an eel. I still remember my childhood. When I remember these happenings, smile sprouts, fear arises and feel ashamed when my clothes left on the bank of the river chewed and left like a net by an ox. Now, could I claim myself as a patriotic or a slave of time? I am in dilemma. If I claim a patriotic, I hardly visit my birthplace twice or three times a year. If I claim non-patriotic, I have not left Nepal. Is there any difference between the soil of Nepal and the soil of England or the soil of Arabian? Is there any difference between the knowledge we gain abroad and here at home? If we ignore our culture and tradition and adopt the westerners, who we are. When we forget our Vedas, Upanishad and other Hindus myths and study Bible, who we are. If we forget our Dhaka Topi and put on hats, how can we claim that we are patriotic? Shouldn't we need to redefine patriotism?

Do you believe in dream or not ?

16 June 2018
Do you believe in dream or not that's your personal way of experiencing life? But if you ask me, I have a mix type of experience in my life. Once when I was a student of bachelor level at RR college, my room partner was Rajendra Kaini from Tanahu. While we were waiting for the second years result of my bachelor level study, the examination board of TU released the result. It was not possible to go and see the result at Jamal. We both slept. Next morning, Kaini, my friend said, "Pandit, what did you see in your dream?" My response was your result was on the notice board but mine is torn where my number was. After getting fresh, both of us took own bicycle and headed to Jamal to see the result next morning. When we reached Jamal, what I saw on my dream was reflected. My friend's symbol no was there on the list but mine, where it had to be, was torn. He got shocked remembering my dream and saying just 30 minutes ago.
The next dream was about my father. My father was operated at the Teaching hospital, Kathmandu and returned home after treatment. I was an English teacher at Kanti Ishwori Rajya Laxmi Secondary School Pyphal, Kathmandu. My father was at our home in Kaski and I was here in Kathmandu. It was the matter of 2057. I was with my spouse Shanti here in Kathmandu. I frequently used to see my father in his smile and roaming the village around. He was the social worker and President of Nepali Congress of Shisuwa Village Development Committee and elected chairperson of ward no 7 of the same Village Development Committee. People used to say he was fair in giving justice. I used to listen 'Sanobabu isn't in the meeting, how justice goes'. I used to think my father was improving a lot and he had the smile on his face and energy to wander around. I was happy. I didn't try to understand the meaning of my dream. I was happy seeing my father active and energetic. I thought his health was improving but after a few months of the same year at Tihar, my father took his last breath deserting us. Then I realized that if anyone sees someone smiling and wandering somewhere, it's not the positive indication. My experience came to conclude that if you see someone smiling on the dream, he/she is going to die soon.
There have been other happenings in my life. This night also I saw a dream but don't like to share it with you it's because I want to know whether it matches to my life or not. This morning after my refreshment I went to the google and tried to find the meaning of my dream. Yes, I got the meaning through the internet. But I will disclose it later whether it works or not in my pace of life. Whether it goes as interpreted there or differently. It is the indication for the future happening. If it works as interpreted, I will suggest you study the dream interpretation if not, I won't suggest anyone waste their time studying on the unnecessary matter. My experience explains that dreams are meaningful. We have to know the meaning of the dreams and they indicate the future happenings too.

Pashupati Mitra Secondary School, Chabahil Kathmandu Teaching Staff meeting

31 Jestha 2075
Pashupati Mitra Secondary School, Chabahil Kathmandu Teaching Staff meeting
Being a teacher to be concerned about the progress of school and outstanding performance of students is reasonable. During meeting our headteacher and other colleagues talk about the performance of students. That's a great idea. We teachers should talk about such issues. Moreover we talked about the students's hairstyle and uniform too. My finding of experiences of more than two decade and a half says that a teacher can do nothing but can show the way. A student can carry A+ while the next one carries D from the same class where the same teachers teach. The student who follows the way that a teacher shows can carry A+ but the one who doesn't care carry D.It is the student who is responsible to deserve his place. It may be rational to raise question to the teacher whether he is performing his duty honestly or not, or whether he is working for the sake of students' performance or doing his own work even at the assigned time for the students or assigning more to other and getting free time for own self. You may think you are right, but there are others who do not judge you that you are fair. To understand other , you should be in the place of other too. Then solution comes in your hands. If not, conflict emerges. You see others are guilty and responsible for the conflict but the main reason you are. If a teacher is the sole reason why these two students carry different grading. Individual talent is the main cause.
Nowadays, I have read and heard that if a teacher wants, he can change the school and students' performance. But I don't totally agree to it though somehow it is true. If it is so, you may think community schools are falling behind due to the teachers' negligence. You may be right but it won't be true if you see the teachers' own kids' performance. It's easy to blame other but when you face you can realize the reality. You may blame to others and their parents and environment at home. I think you have given the environment to your kids, but have you noticed or not that your kids have not been no 1. Why? It's because of individual talent.
Indeed, if you want to change the society, first you have to change yourself. The old or grown up or the new generation with old mind set can't change any organization. They seem to be unfair it's because what they are thinking is wrong to other. They don't realize that what they are doing is not as the demands of new generation. The new generation wants to enjoy their life of their own way whether in uniform or hairstyle or food but the grown up think what they are doing is breaching the regulation. A teacher may forget that his colleagues colour their hair but they complain to their students. If the students raise the same question why you colour your hair, sir. What may be the answer of a teacher. Is it fair or not?
This is the time of science and technology. No one can place him against the discovery of science. Virtual classes are being run for the sake of learners. Even we teachers from Pashupati Mitra Secondary school are frequently teaching students through projectors. That's a great achievement. Everyone can benefit from the virtual classes of various subject matters. But a teacher who is guiding students should examine whether there is change in students' performance or not. If students are performing well, let them enjoy with such classes if not teachers have to change their modality of teaching. There must be change in learners' behaviour or responding to the query.
Teaching students under pressure or punishment has already been the matter of history. Children rights avoid any type of punishment. In the past or a few years backs students used to be beaten or punished for not doing homework or any other types of assignments. But now it has been history. On the other hands, everywhere we see children and teenagers with the hairstyle of their own most favorite player and in jersey too. Even teachers are buying jersey and letting their children have hair style as of their kids' wish. Is it fair to control the students in this matter or not? It has been a burning issue for the sake of school code of conduct.
It is your mind set that sees the same thing different. If it goes to your kids, you may think it is right but if it goes to others you may find it horrible. Clothing, hairstyle are not the great matter that we should deal. But the matter that has to be discussed is their behaviour or honesty or sincerity or perverseness. How etiquette they are with them . How they are behaving to other. Whether they are socialized or not. Are they sincere to their duty or responsibility? A child at school in America enjoy snack and soft drink while class is on but we don't accept it in Nepal. What is the different between a child in America and a child in Nepal? Both of them are students and have more or similar interest. Should we think over this matter or not?
If a teacher is able to make his students do as his wish is a successful teacher. He can change the educational environment. To change the educational environment, firstly he has to change and see where the gap lies. If a teacher is able to stimulate his learners, he can perform well and set the outstanding record. A teacher should be like a citrus fruit (Nibuwa) if one already experienced its flavor, seeing cut even at the street by others his tongue waters. Let a teacher be like a Nibuwa.
Mr. Kafle an assistant headteacher and an English teacher at Pashupati Mitra Secondary school says a teacher must be role model in reading book. Who can say "No".? None. But my kids raise questions here.I don't think about others on this matter. Most of the time I remain busy at reading and writing. I never remain idle. My kids hover me. I can claim that they are with me 24 hours a day. But they don't seem to be ready to study themselves unless me or my spouse suggest them to read. Why children take reading as a matter of burden but not the matter of interest. Why we teachers are being failed to stimulate them to study the books as of their interest.
No doubt , a teacher must be a researcher. He has to find new techniques and technology. If a problem arises, he has to settle it. Three days back one of English teachers from Kathmandu texted me a message and asked what thequestion tag for "Tit for tat". I said , " I don't have clear idea about it. But my conscience tells me that it doesn't have question tag. It's because it is not a statement. To add question, it must be a statement. To be a statement, there must be a verb." It was my response. Later I asked my colleagues about it. No one could satisfy me. In the end, I contacted to the native speaker and academic book writer about it. I got some information about the usages of tit for tat and links. I responded that I had already checked the matter but there was not any solution. In the end the writer asked me to clarify the query. Finally we came to the conclusion that tit for tat doesn't have question tag. It was my finding.
I think it will be better to share how to transmit knowledge that we learn from our text book. In grade seven book, there is a sentence about Dharahara. Dharahara is on the southwest tip of Tudikhel. If any learner knows where Dharahara is he can talk and write about his place relating to the vicinity. You can say, "My village is on the west of the Seti river or south of Mt Makalu or other. A teacher should not give only the matter in the text but should make learners relate the content in their own context.

Are there changes in subalterns' life?

2075-02-29
Are there changes in subalterns' life?
I don't think that there are changes in subalterns' life though they are voiced, they are still voice less. Though there is government from ward to the federal state, there is conflict. Leaders of present Nepal say political conflict is over, now this is time for development and progress. Every time every second they see the plight of Kathmandu valley, they remain mute. Even the government is declaring to add Rs 200 to the motorbike riders for increasing pollution. It's okay for that. But my query is who will pay the tax to the public who are swallowing dust while breathing during their sleep inside their house. Is the government only for collecting tax or working for the sake of Nepal. I feel proud when I listen to the words spoken by the PM Oli. But I regret when I visit some offices whether there won't be the concern person to perform duty or linger and trouble to the general public. What rights the commoners have got to go against them and stay at office and perform their duty honestly. The PM of Nepal shouldn't be like a barking dog. His words must be like the bullet they fly from the guns. That means the flying bullets fulfill their target. Let it happen. Don't make a castle in the air. The present government is not the ruler but like a servant. In reality it is but we can't experience that the government is working for the people like a servant as the PM said. If so why some political parties are in the street? Why is there discrimination between castes regions and religions?
During the time of writing or drafting constitution, I have sent my reservations about it. Our constitution of 2072 is inhuman and irrational. Nepalese leaders were unable to find the enemies of Nepal. My conscience says that the enemies of the world are only the illiteracy and poverty but the castes and cultures are the assets and should be preserved. There is conflict in the constitution. On the one hand, it talks about equality on the other hand, it talks about reservation. How equality and reservation march together. Leaders talk about the upliftment of women and tribes and so called Dalit. But so called Brahamin and Kshetry leaders are not ready to hand over the power neither to women nor to the Dalit or other leaders, why? They compete to grasp the post of President of the party and the Prime minister of nation. They seem to be greedy and are against their own culture too. Why it happens?
What might be the solution to the present crisis? To eliminate illiteracy from the society, every Nepali should get a free of cost of living, clothing, fooding and education at least for school level education. The illiterate one whether he is Brahimin or Bishowkarma or Madheshi or Rai or any other, the government should manage education for them. Only not receiving school fee and providing books at free of cost doesn't have any value unless every one doesn't fulfill their stomach. Empty stomach can do nothing. That's why it's government duty to provide them free education to all. When they are qualified, let them work as right man in the right place according to their capacity. Reservation should be eliminated but opportunity should be equally given to all and everyone has to realize how importance is their own personal capacity. Rigth person is right place can guide the institution and nation to the destination
The second enemy of the world and Nepal is poverty. The government has to define who the poor are. The poor ones whether Brahimin or Bhotes or Madheshi or Rai or Tamang or Newar should be given job at industries with handsome salary. If they have job with handsome payment, they can upliftment their own status.
The third matter is of settlers. Land shouldn't be provided to the landless but the government has to build big buildings and provide them rooms to live and job at industries or may be on farming too. Then every problem can be settled.
Don't let the henchmen of any political parties as the chiefs of any organizations or institutions but appoint the sincere and honest ones to lead the organization. They can sow the seeds of honesty and future generations can follow as the power remains on the colorful stone with flowers. To lead organization means the chiefs should more than the normal ones so that they wouldn't feel humiliated. If someone is appointed for any organization, he has to spend the whole time to flourish the organization but not only own career. If the organization flourishes well, everyone can be benefited as after Sudama offering the half piece of rice to the God Krishna asking to fulfill the hunger of the hungry ones of the world. Everyone didn't have any hunger left for few hours. So let it happen in our nation. Let the discrimination end from our yard. Let the reservation end from our yard. Let everyone feel equal from the very inner soul of each Nepali. Let every bud bloom in our vicinity.

Dr. Baburam 's opinion about Hinduism is regrettable

2075-02-28
Dr. Baburam 's opinion about Hinduism is regrettable
If it is true that I read in online about Dr. Baburam 's opinion about Hinduism is regrettable. According to him the hindrance of development of Nepal is Hindus and their cultures they follow. Though he is a doctor he seems as a half wit here. He has already been the Ministry of Finance and the Prime Minister of Nepal but how he proved himself different to so called dictators of the previous leaders. Why he couldn't give up his greed. Why his spouse name came as to Pampha as it was rumor during 40th and 5 th decade. Why she could not be similar to Sudama's wife Basundhars who didn't allow to Bishowkarma to change her hut into palace until he changed all her neighbors. In that sense it seems very natural to go against Hindus and Hindus cultures. Hindus cultures have taught to be fair and work for the sake of others before fulfilling own greed. Neither Sudama nor his wife showed greed to possess property nor the power. Sudama being a Brahamin didn't accept the crown of the king but accepted to be the path shower to the king as late Ganeshman did here in Nepal.
What a shame to listen! Have you (Dr. Baburam) heard or read about Krishna, Sudama and his wife. How Krishna advised to Bishowkarma, an engineer who built the building of heaven and changed Sudama's hut into grand palace and his neighbours 's houses into castle. How Hindu religion is the hindrance for development. It is the guilty lens that you possess. Don't blame to Hinduism. It's a glory of millions of millions people from all over the world. It is the most advanced and democratic religion of the world. It is full of science and technology and can be claimed that it is to all.
There is no discrimination between castes and people. There is no caste system in Hindu religion. People are divided into four groups according to their interest and capacity. But the people like you who are misguiding to the human society, are trying to defame Hindus and their heart beat Hinduism. You don't have any rights to deliver speech against Hinduism. In the end, majority of the world population will be compelled to follow this religion through their own interest but not like by the European dollars or pounds. What is not there? There is not only conflict but resolution of conflict too, there is politics and the bad ones have been punished logically. There is science and source of knowledge in the form of religion and myths.
The knowledge you gained from the modern book is feeble in front of the knowledge in Hindus myths. You see dictators to others but how are present leaders who are surrounded by security personals and live the luxurious lives keeping Nepalese in the street. Due to the revolution you involved thousands of Nepalese whether the Maoists or police or armies or general public lost their life in bloodshed and infrastructures were destroyed. Billions of billions rupees was spent to buy weapons but not to buy medicine nor to construct bridge and others. Still in this so called republic Nepal only Big brothers are enjoying their life but the subalterns are mute even today. They can't speak themselves though they have clear vocal.
I think you are familiar with the corpse from your own home district Gorkha at Teaching Hospital and the corpse's alive spouse who is fasting to death at Bir hospital for the sake of justice and punishment for the culprit who killed her sons. don't they have right to live? What is the difference between your life and these couple's lives. No one is immortal. But everyone has a right to live. Stop grumbling against Hinduism. If not Hindus don't kill you but indeed they can boycott you. If they boycott you, where is the place for you to live. Can you live if everyone stops talking to you, glancing you and turning their deaf ears. Be aware of it.

Congratulations Pragya for being a year matured

Chandra Kanta Pandit
10 hrs ·
Congratulations Pragya for being a year matured and having a chance to face the time approaching ahead. This is the day on which you began to cry and look for the new places to live. You chose your mother's womb and my lap too. All parents feel proud if they see their children smiling and achieving outstanding performance in every trial of life but they don't.
You came as a lotus, remain as a rose and give off fragment like of lilac and others. Every activity you performed from the very beginning-squealing, yelling, growling, whispering, raspberries, babbling and how you dazzled us by shakily standing are still vivid in my memories. Your smiles and way of spell bounding greeting to the visitors are your assets, preserve them and use as much as you can. But your love towards the software keep you mad and may you have mastery over it. You look a little bit naughty and express 'I'm always right' may seek the answer from you. Whether you are only in your own world or you have to see around to realize that there is the world beyond you too. What you think or feel or express may not always be right. Try to see the world being yourself, being as your parents, friends, sisters, brothers, teachers, neighbors, children from street to palace, and varieties of celebrities. All of them are humans but possess different interest.
What you like, that is your own world but there are various worlds beyond you who prefer to another world. Try your best to sooth the pain of the needy ones as Florescent did; try to be bold as Gurkhali did, try to be calm as Gautam Buddha did, try to be devotional as Pralhad, Dhurba and Sudama (childhood of Krishna's friends) did,try to be as rational as Bidur did,try to develop friendship as Krishana and Sudama had, try to be clear as Socrates did, try to be imaginative as Rabindranath Tagore did, try to be interactive as Shakespeare did in his creation, try to be generous asBashundhara (Sudama's wife) and sometimes seen laziness may work as Newton's did.
Soft skills are essential parts of human beings. Gaining knowledge through your own experience and inner realization is of great importance than the knowledge you achieve from the book. Therefore, try to travel inside and seek the answer of this question 'who are you?' from your inner soul and put the answer you gained from the inner soul into practice, that lasts forever which makes you a true human being.
Many many happy returns of the day!
Happy birthday to you my kid!
May you have what you wish!
May your every trial gain the only victory!
May you keep on smiling the days and years ahead!
May you be blessed with knowledge, peace, and prosperity!

The most selfish word 'I'

3 June 2018
The most selfish word 'I'
Before writing something about 'I', let me inform you that who 'I' is. Generally, who is speaking in front of the audiences addressing to his audience or as a narrator who is informing something about the happening in a story or somewhere is 'I'. Everyone feels proud to say'I' but feels desperate when his competitors win the competition and begins to find the loophole why he couldn't get victory. He never looks at his own performance and begins to blame others. He feels suppressed if he has to apply his opponent good vision into effects. Under the influence of creed, 'I' always present as a puppet. 'I' himself cannot be a free human being. 'I' always is right. It is his misconception. 'I' feels proud con notating to big brothers who may neither his own kiths nor his neighbours but not to the poor ones of his own blood. It is the place where 'I' always skips from his duty and responsibility.
My friend Chtang Dai sent me a video and asked me to write an article reacting on 'I' the most selfish word. I listened to the video and found it persuasive. Every human being always blames to others, asks for something, and fills with greed forgets to donate, which are not easy to be access. Even at temple people visit the temple and asks to Gods to fulfill his demands. The guru gave a reference from the youngest US president John F. Kennedy “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country" is noteworthy.
It will be a great pleasure if someone is honoured for his excellent performance but he /she feels humiliated if takes something as alms from others. It will be better to stop to say 'I' but 'we' will be preferable. If there is no changes in behaviour of learners, it is believed that there is no learning. Science also believes that if there is the use of force and effort but there is no change in movement, it cannot be a work. If there is investment of time and effort, there must be changes of the place. Only then, a work is performed.
If someone says 'I' am learned one, read a poem -The abbot of the Canterbury. Who is the abbot and who is the shepherd. Then find the difference between them. Who was able to answer three questions raised by the king. 'I' should not be proud of having higher level of certificate it's because an illiterate can guide the learned 'I'.
Instead of feeling proud of saying 'I', it will be better to try oneself to be happy. Every human being feels sad and desperate due to the thing that he is not being able to grasp. 'I' should try to develop his hobby of sacrificing. If 'I' begin to offer rather than having a greed to achieve from other, he can be happy. In the same way, if 'I' uses maximum of his time to fulfill his duty and responsibility rather than doing own personal activities during the sold hours, that 'I' can get more satisfaction that the work he performs for his individual progress Sudama, God Krishna's childhood friend offered two half of a single rice taking the name of Krishna and asking to fulfill the hunger of the hungry of the entire Universe. He was able to fulfill his hunger without showering his own personal greed. How mighty example of humanity is presented by him. 'I' must feel pride if that 'I' can present himself as Sudama did.
