My mother, in Bir hospital

We human beings are slaves of time and are bound with rules and regulations as well as duties and responsibilities. My mother has been the victim of Appendicitis lump. After long trial and investigation, Dr Anuj and his team handled the case intelligently. Thank you the entire team who showered their responsibility and got my mother's operation well. I have been fortunate to be with my mother's care and watch the activities of hospital's entire family. I felt a little bit shameful to see Dhurmus and his team who were cleaning the entire hospital. Different level of workers have been appointed there for its sanitation but Dhurmus and his team have been cleaning the toilets and other parts of hospital. I salute to them but ask questions to the authority why your workers are there. Are they only appointed for the service or for their betterment? This is the place where the authority should keep to their eyes.

I was with nurses and mom at Bir Hospital in Kathmand 0n 29 Baisakha 2075 after her operation. Nurses who were taking photos with my mom on the occasion of nurse international day. May all nurses have the spirit like of Nightingale Florescent who dazzled the world with her devotion towards the victims of war and has been known as the lady with lamp.

On the same day I was with head teacher ,colleagues, guardians and students at Pashupati Mitra Madhyamik Vidyalaya Chabahil, Kathmandu Nepal to interact with the guardians to know their interest and how we can help students' to make their performance better in their study
My kids are enjoying visiting her grandmother at hospital and with their new baby friend Miss Kafle who was there to see her mother who was operated to take out stone from her inner parts.

Sometimes I feel ashamed to be a learned one but have to stand as a helpless ones. if a leader who has everything nation spends the huge amount of money for his treatment but a poor can't get a paracetamol to get relief from his headache. Instead of providing facilities to the affluent ones why the concerned authority doesn't show their concerned to the voiceless ones.

The next thing that I am not convinced yet is that Drs refer for lab tests. They have begun from X-ray to CT scan and inform us that appendicitis lump has been there due to which my mother got pain on her abdomen. It is necessary to get operation. they said, "nothing is seen and operation can be minor but at the same moment they say there may be anything inside and while operating it might be the major ones." If a lab test doesn't confirm about the investigation, why various lab test is refereed to be done. Hospital fee is too normal but the lab test and the cost of drugs is too high.

While staying at hospital, I came to know that that whether Drs or nurses or labours or other authority should have polite tone, they can change the entire hospital. Dhurmus's team has changed the sanitation at Bir hospital. Though none misbehaved me there but I saw so many misbehaving s. A person who is in there for the first time cannot know how to reach to the concerned depart and sectors feels humiliated. Services provided there must be patient friendly. Don't let anyone to raise fingers against the authority due to their performance. everyone should have sweet presentation. Drs words should lessen 50% illness from the patient psyche. A doctor cannot treat patient well if his patient is minimizing Drs' performance and underestimating him. The foremost task of the Drs is to smile, polite and pleasing. If someone dies after operation, don't let the concerned raise finger against the operator team but let them realize that death is natural it happened naturally but not due to the negligence of the Drs.
