How can we settle the present hazard seen in the education
system of Nepal?
Nepal is a landlocked and recently declared the federal
Democratic Republic of Nepal. Dream own self for the sake of Nepal is of great
importance but the dream seen by borrowed lens is not result oriented. No
nation can march forward without education.
If we see around every corner of Nepal, we can see everywhere educated
manpower, unemployed but they are not fit for the development. To develop
Nepal, we need sincere honest and hardworking manpower but we don’t have that
kind of skilled manpower. If so, what is the problem in education in Nepal? Are
our universities worthless? Why the professors of Nepal blame to the politics
and political leaders. Why don’t they realize that it is happening due to their
own productions?
To make Nepal a developed nation, there should be a lot
changes. The foremost change that we need is to develop honesty, sincerity and
disciplined leaders and other manpower. Who produce that? Indeed, the
universities. What is lacking in
universities education? They are failure to convince learners that all works
are of equal importance. If there are doctors but not nurses in hospitals, what
may be the condition? In the same ways, if there are engineers but not the
labours. What may happen, if there are modern technologies but not the manpower
that can drive them? The government should stop to be influenced by others
dogmas. These creed might be useful for them but not for the sake of Nepal and
Nepalese. Therefore, the education system must be emerged from our own yards
and soul that can be useful to us. Our leaders mostly dream to make Nepal Switzerland
but Nepal is Nepal and never can be Switzerland.
To develop education of Nepal, the basic education must be
free of cost and manage boarding schools even to the helpless one. Basic
education can make every Nepalese calculate the data and be able in
communication. After the completion of the basic education, let every learner learn
life skills as the necessity of nations. It would be better to produce manpower
to fulfill the demand of the nation. Let them learn as their wish. Some wish to
work as a carpenter and other wish as an officer but the next one wish to be
doctor and others engineers. Nepal has to develop agriculture schools, farming
schools, language learning schools, and science and technology school. Where
learners are not willing to study let them guaranteed for their future with
handsome payment. For example, man powers mostly wish to stay in the headquarter
of each district. If so happens why the government does not pay less for those
who don’t wish to go in distant place. Let their payment double or triple than
those in the town. Indeed, due to the high payment, workers will be ready to go
in the distant place. Let them have provision of promotion faster than working
in the hub.
Producing unemployed manpower for each nation would be the
cause of downfall. Why our education can’t convince to the learners that a
farmer is more important than any other manpower. How? A doctor is only for
patient, an engineer is only for sketching or designing or drawing or others
and so are others only for specific purpose. They need only for a part but a
farmer is necessary for all. It’s because if a farmer stops working, everyone
has to die of hunger. Let him high
priority and consider him no less than other.
Education must produce a disciplined, honest, and devotional
for his profession and hardworking manpower for nation. But it is lacking. A
university professor does not have strength to blame to the politician it’s
because he is his production. During the time of acquiring degree why he is
lacking to make them honest. They learn dishonesty from the university. He
encourages them to be dishonest. Why they were unable to expel them from the University
for breaching the regulations of the concerned college. During the time of
students’ union election, mostly the office of the union used to be destroyed
and burnt. But the authority remained mute and didn’t punish any students’
organization. Revolution is always
necessary but vandalism must be discouraged. If the leaders of students’
organizations were punished for vandalism or compelled them to compensate the
loss vandalism, beating to their opponent, the destruction and demolition of
buses, houses and others couldn’t be seen. They were pardoned and awarded with degree
is the main cause of corruption and treachery of present Nepal seen mostly in
political arena. Let them learn to be honest and devotional to their duty and
responsibility from school to university education.
Boycott would be the best solution to eliminate corruption
from the nation. A nation has regulation and some system to punish the
culprits. The concerned culprits manage in paper does the legal corruption. But
let’s calculate his in heritage property and the total income of his work. If
seen the amount, that is visible from the corruption. If the society knows about
the corruption, let them boycott from the society. If it is done who does corruption.
Who can live beyond the society? Such kind of knowledge should be given to the
learners from school to university.
