Duty is duty

Duty is duty
Those who don't perform their duty honestly are punished everywhere in the world. Once Indra, the God of heaven remained busy at drinking alcohol and watching the dance of Apsara forgetting his duty and responsibility. When he released Akal, Akal came to the earth and swallowed crops, vegetables, plants and animals in turn. Sumeru changed into desert and there was no drop of water to drink. Sage Gautam advised the King Keshari to perform Yangya in the name of God Indra, then he would be compelled to shower rain on the earth. Keshari performed Yangya but though the smell of the Yangya reached to heaven, he remained busy at watching dances of Apsara and drinking alcohol. His spouse advised him to perform his duty honestly. He became furious and responded that who she was to compel him to work against his will. He insulted her too. After performing Yangya, there was no rainfall in Sumeru, Hanuman went to visit Indra. But the security personells didn't allow him to enter the place where he was enjoying. At the moment Airawat arrived at the gate and saw Hanuman. Hanuman informed him that the security personnel didn't allow him. Airawat himsled went and tried to inform him about Hanuman's arrival. But he insulted him and went from there. Later with his own advise and his queen too, Hanuman captured the Airawat and came down to the earth. With lord Shiva's advice, he had to teach him a good lesson. Hanuman took fresh fruiits from Kailash and gave everyone which could release from hunger and thirst. When Indra couldn't see the Airawata, He was furious and came to Keshari's palace and asked for Hanuman. Keshari said that he was not there. He informed that he had gone to see him in the heaven. He threatened and left the palace.
But Indra couldn't go up in the heaven. He was deserted himself. The people were insulting him that he was not real Indra. If he were Indra, he could rain and wouldn't worry about the water to quench his thirst. Everywhere where he used to reach, people insulted him. He could neither get a drop of water to drink nor food to eat. He had been lamenting for water and food. It means that he was not all in all. But his thought was worthless, or valueless. People used to worship and offered him Prahsad and Ygnya but when he came down on the earth to revenge to Hanuman. Hanuman taught him a good lesson.
People came to Keshari's palace and informed him that a man was pretending to be Indra and people were insulting him. Keshari went to see who he was. When he saw Keshari, he was furious. He wwent there to help him but Indra tried to insult him and blamed that he was hiding his son. Keshari also left him deserted it's because he had not realized his mistake. Indra was wandering door to door in search of food and water but he could not. At the moment, Hanuman was soothing his subjects by giving juicy fruit which he had taken from Kailash. Those who had that fruit they could have neither thirst nor hunger, they could live in comfort. Then Hanuman reached his palace and fed his mother and father with the fruit that he had taken from the Kailash. He showed the Airawat to Anajani. Anjani asked him to go to God Indra and asked for pardon. But Hanuman didn't like to do so it's because he was arrogant and forgot his duty and responsibility. Keshari also was on the same opinion as Hanuman was following.
At the end, he went to Indra and gave him fruits from Kailash . As soon as Indra saw Hanuman he insulted and threew the basket of fruits he had taken. Hanuman asked him to be calm but he didn't. Hanuman advised his subjects to go to their own place so that he could talk to Indra alone. Indra got furious. Then Hanumann advised him to be calm but he didn't. At last he took the name of Ram and said "Jai Shree Ram" and made his body big. Then he picked up Indra in his fist. Suruchi, Indra's wife came and asked Hanuman to release him from his fist. But he didn't listen and prayed to his teacher Surya. Surya approached when he invited and asked why he invited to Surya. He wanted to ask a question. Then he allowed him to ask him a question. Then he asked if he were the lovelies devotees of Surya. Indeed, yes he said. Then he asked Surya to heat Indira who was in his fist. He did accordingly. Indra became furious. Suruchi wnet to Kailash where Shiva was residing with Parvati. She pleaded him to give command to release Indra from Hanuman's hand. He could alive only with his mecrcy. Shiva said that the entire universe was in Indra's mercy but he was only in Hanuman's mercy.. He wouldn't let him go unless he got ready to accept his mistake and guarantee that he would perform his duty how he was supposed too.
When he couldn't tolerate the heat given by the sun, at the end he asked for pardon that he committed. Hanuaman left him as soon as he asked for aprdon. At the moment Narada, messeanger arrived and advised them to trap Akal who was swallowing the plants, vegetable, fruit s and other. All of them agreed ant trapped him. Indra realized his mistake. Hanuman gave him the Airawat and Kunjika that was given him by one of the villagers whom he gave him fruit to eat. Hanumann and Indra met Akal and trapped him till the time he has to stay there. He asked Indra not to release him before time. Hanuman and Indra said that it would be as the time.
Therefore, no one is superior or inferior to perform his/her duty. Those who perform their duty honestly they are prayed their gods of goddesses but if they forget their duty and responsibility, must be punished as the God Indra was punished for not performing his duty honestly. The present leaders of Nepal have to study about Hanuman's skill and devotion to his subjects. He never presented him as the Prince of Sumeru but as a citizen of Sumeru. He solved every crisis that approached in his country. So he was known as Sankat Mochan i.e. reliever from crisis. The leaders have to study how Anjana used to behave to her subjects. How generous she was. How fair she was. How she behaves was written in golden letters of human civilization. Therefore, no one should think inferior or superior according to their work. They work is equally important. Work is worship. There should not be any boundary. Equality must prevail and justice must be pervasive. This is the demand of present Nepal. There must be the value of academic certificate, sincerity and responsibility to the work they perform.
