Questioning
Asking a question is the way to find what is hidden somewhere else i.e. is called science. Science doesn't invent anything new but discovers what is prevailing in the hidden form. To find the reality, bold guess is necessary as the scientist Newton said. There is already current in water but scientists try to display it with the help of tunnel and turbine. In the same way, while Hanuman was on the way to get drops of water from the Gangottari to release his mother from the poison of an insect, two sisters who became Apsara and changed into Dakini and Sakin with the curse given by Indra, the God of heaven, tired to kill Hanuman and make their food. But Hanuman took the name of Ram and asked to save him. They tried to kill him but could not and remained helpless. All their effort remained useless. They lost their nails and braid. At the end, they got surprised to listen the word Mate and praying for their betterment. They got surprised when he took Ram's name. They said that one day while they were going to kill Ram, they could not but told them about their relief from the curse. Then Hanuman inquired Ram how they could get released from the curse. Ram advised him to take the Vrata of Sravan. They told him that they would also pray for his mother's betterment. Hanuman was taken exam one after another. When there was problem, he always used to pray to Ram and Shiva. They used to save him in turn.Questioning is the best way to get progress and the outlet of the hurdle faced by the human beings.
While going to Ganggotri, he had to face many hurdles. One of them is the matter of sage Niraj who got married Urjawala. She wanted to be pregnant but her husband didn't want. One day when he invited a sage for food, she didn't prepare but asked him to give him a child. He didn't. She again asked him why he got married her if he didn't wish to have children. Then, how she could fulfill her lust. 'You can do with anyone else', he replied. When Niraj and a senior sage were on the yard talking about Yangaya Urjwala proposed the sage to conceive her. He got angry and cursed Niraj that he would never be content with his life and left his home. Then Niraj cursed his own wife that everything would be deserted if she touched anything else and would forget thing.
Both of them were wandering in the forest. On the way when she saw Narada, she proposed to love her. But Hanuman was in the middle. She asked her to leave the way but he didn't. She asked him if he didn't leave him he had to love her. Hanuman prayed to Ram and said that he would love her. After that Hanuman clear her feet with his scarf. She got angry and said that was not the love. He said that she was like her mother and a son's love to mother means has to wash the feet. Mother's feet are the place for the son. Then she touched his head but could do no harm. Later she became curse free and changed her attitude, met her husband and lived together.
After that he had to answer Akshya's three questions to be free from the forest. They were: what are the main five evils of human beings and what is reason of it? His answer was that the five evils of human beings are: lust, rage, greed, attachment and ego. The main cause of these five evils is ignorance. The second question was to explain: Bhul, Dosh and Pap. He answered that if someone does something wrong unknowingly is mistake. Its solution is to excuse. If someone does something wrong knowingly is called Dosh. Its solution can be both pardon and punishment and the last one crime is something wrong done repeatedly. Is solution is to repent (Prayaschit). He answered the third question and was able to go to the Gangottari. Though he was able to perform every trial very gently, he wasn't able to carry enough water and the leaves of plants to relief his mother from the poison. When he arrived at the palace, his water and leaves didn't work and the Baidhya declared that it didn't work and she was no longer alive .Hanuman went to the temple and prayed lord Shiva that he could take his lif e but not his mother's Anjani. At last Shiva was compelled to make her alive. Hanuman got through every trial that Shiva take.
Firm determination and devotion to the almighty can give the solution to every hurdle that we human beings have. 'If there is problem, there is solution to' said Hanuman. To question is the way to get solution. Have faith in own can lead towards success of each trial. From the modern concept also, doing research means questioning on an issue and responding with proof is the ultimate way of finding solution.
