Ever After
Being tired but having passion for reading and writing a middle aged man in a room of a lockdown city willed to have a glass of hot water and asked his eldest son for it at 10 pm. As soon as he listened to his order, he turned his deaf ear and went to his room holding a mobile phone in his hand. It was too late to boil water and felt bored to listen his father's pleading for water. He was all in all in his family and had to fulfill his kids' every desire but the eldest son didn't carry any command into hand made him think what he had taught his kid. If the kid being healthy and smart physically didn't carry the command into effect, would he be socially healthy? Was it the education given to the kid by educational institutions as well as his family too?

His wife who had nearly fallen asleep was listening to the request for water went out of the bed and took a thermos full of water when their lovely eldest kid ignored the request. The man remained busy at studying books on various topics. His eldest child behavior made him think deeply and tried to find the misunderstanding between them. Having highest degree certificate with excellent GPA might not work if he didn't possess human traits. All of them slept except the eldest son who was busy at his mobile and laptop and the man himself was busy at his study. He was sipping hot water and reading some religious books and criticism too. The man questioned himself why whom he didn't ask for water took water but the kid ignored. "Have the children nurtured this way in a so called modern and advanced human society?" he inquired.

He did not find the answer but came to the conclusion that the foremost things that a human needs in his life are humility, smile and socialization. "But why modern kids do not possess such qualities which do not need any amount to earn but only regular practice can make it. Whose responsibility is it to insert human traits in the children's psyche?"

Having so many questions in his mind he began to read but no words stimulated to go through the text. He had to fulfill his every desire but the child didn't bring water to quench his thirst. He stopped reading and tried to go to the Google and typed a question how parents can make their children obedient to them. While going through the various texts, the man came to know that the grown up children do not like to listen the command and the sentences like – you should be or you should stop watching program on YouTube or you should stop playing games there. After reading some tips there to change his kids behaviors. He decided not to judge and command to his kids but decided to change his behavior.

Next morning when he got up and got fresh, he went to his son with a cup of tea and said, "Good morning my son. How was your night? Did you sleep well?" Listening good morning from his father's tongue he got up and smiled and said good morning too. It was good time for him he said. Then the son said, "How was your night too? Was it wonderful too? "Why not my son? You are with me, my proud. Everything was okay during my night except one?" replied the man. "One thing? What do you mean? "he asked. "Sorry son." He replied. "You left me in confusion." He added. "My son, my heart I am really sorry. Yesterday I asked you to bring me a glass of hot water thinking that you were my small kid who used to enjoy carry my every command in no time. But I forgot that you were grown up and a student of the second last semester of your Bachelor level student. I forgot that a bachelor level student should not do any household work neither to help mother in the kitchen nor to his father's other work or younger brother and sister in their study. You are supposed to enjoy only on laptop and have hardly the lunch and supper. You are too busy. I am really sorry son. You are grown up a matured citizen. Don't you know that your mom who was feeling uneasy, got out of the bed and went to the kitchen, boiled water and gave me" He added.

Filled his eyes with tears and said, " I am really sorry my father. I did an unpardonable mistake in my life. "When his son said, "Sorry" , his eyes also filled with tear. Since the day the boy never ignored to his parents command. He felt happy to carry every command into his effect. Since then he didn't let his father sad and tried his best to be the lovely kid of his parents even after. They lived happily ever after.
