Mysterious Hindus Myths

Two glorious but very pathetic myths Ramayana and Mahabharat mostly show how they are related to the family. In Mahabharat, there is the conflict between Pandus and Karauv. Pandava represents truth, religious and harmonious side of human society while Karauv represents the selfishness and evil side. Althouugh Pandavs tolerated every hardship and insult, Karaubdidn't take them as their family members. But their mothers' harmony is praiseworthy. Due to the Karaub's injustice, a great war was waged at Kurukshetra. Although Pandavas won, it didn't seem that they won. It's because, at the end of the war, there were innumerable human casualties. In Karauv side no one was left for the future. Inside both families, there was a good relationship between brothers but when they crossed a family, they were like enemies each other. Was it fair or not?

In the same way, when we study Ramayan, we see harmony between brothers though they were born from their uncle or aunt. When Ram was going to the forest, Bharat asked Ram not to go to the forest but asked him to stay at Ayodhya and rule out it. It's so tragic to Bharat and so are Ram and Laxman. They were one in the family. Therefore, Ram was able to defeat Ravan. Ravan lost the war due to his own brother Bivishan who helped Ram.
