What do you think about teaching learning activities? Should a teacher be strict or friendly in the classroom? There may be differences between speech and the action we do. Should a teacher follow the western concept or the eastern philosophy of teaching learning activities? Eastern myths show that teacher is all in all and his command should be carried out.- Whereas Westerners believe that every child can learn if there is no fear. School should be child-friendly. Sometimes I am in the dilemma when I let the student learn as their interest in junior classes.If I speak very politely and suggest them to do some works. They seem to be noisy. They do not pay attention to activities.At the moment if I stare at them, it draws their attention and does their work more sincerely. It shows that our children perform better, look disciplined if a teacher is rigid and stands with big eyes. if a teacher tries to be friendly, they are not performing better. They seem to be careless.
Why children pay attention to other activities than their own. I always suggest them not to talk about others but pay attention to their own duty and responsibility. In one class I gave them classwork and suggest them to do their classwork and not to move from their place. You may surprise to know that two students who were sitting in the back row came and complained their friends. I don't like anyone complaining others but they did. Then I punished them. The great surprise was that the whole class remained silent and didn't move but did their classwork very attentively. Politeness, sweet words, friendliness with them remained useless in front of the punishment. Whether it was fair or unfair time will respond. What will you do in that particular circumstances?
Should students of higher studies use mobile phones or not? If you ask me, I should say they must be allowed to carry. The mobile phone can be used as a learning tool. There are most of the things that a student needs. Every student should realize its importance and use it properly. But they should not misuse it. They should not play games, receive a call paying attention to this gadget. Using it in proper ways increase their performance too. If it is misused, others will be deprived of using it. Therefore, every student should realize what this gadget for and how and when he can use it. Don't let your teacher complain about the over the use of cell phones. It can be your boons if you handle it properly if misused, it can be a curse for you.
