Every Dashain should be for all but it cannot be. We have escaped so many dashains without Tika. So is this year. We are compelled to rejoice with our past Dashain where our seniors used to bless us with Jamara and red Tika as well as offering us Sel Roti, Phini, a big banana, a piece of banana, and silver coins and notes too . Putting on new clothes, moving from door to door, playing Linge Ping shouting with cha-cha-hu-ii is another nostalgia for us . Playing Chamarali Ping was wonderful. Especially youths used to gather near the pings. Some used to sing others used to enjoy with Dohari song and dancing is event that lead to our childhood . How every mother used to be busy to scrub their house with red and white soil and colour the windows and doors with the home made colours boiling the barks of Saal and Chilaaune tree.How wonderful it looked! No one had a single minute to waste. Mostly fathers or the male youths used to make their roads or trails neat and tidy. They used to make them visible. It was only the past.

But we don't have that charming with us. We don't have that community now. We don't have that strength to make linge ping and others. Still we are pretending that we are strong. We know everything. We are superior to others. We are from this place and that place. Our family lineage was from well off and we are not up starters like you. What illusion we have . Lord Krishna says 'Our life is full of illusion. So is family and relation. We are living in illusion.' Therefore, present people, we have to know the reality.
We have illusion that if we have enough money we can do every thing. We forget that money is only the medium but not the theorem. We may be proud that we have a castle to live, car to travel, bank balance for our expense and for others . But we don't realize that they are not all in all. These are the things that deprive us to taste the real flavour of the real life. A child does not realize how important is lack of something unless he/she faces himself/herself. How painful it will be for the child who has to quench his/her thirst of licking his own lips looking at nearby child who is licking an ice-cream. See this is life of the contemporary society and the difference between haves and haves not.Haves have everything except the real experience of real life but the pauper has experience of real life due to the lack of every day needs. Now can you tell what the human life is? Who may be the real human? Let them learn what the precious human life is.

Our mostly seniors are no longer with us. They are watching us and our performance from the place which is invisible for us but are competing to collect wealth but not generosity that we learnt in our childhood. We have learnt that we have to share with the neighbour what we grow, what we cook, and what new foods or fruits that we bring from somewhere. But due to modernization, new generation has been mechanized. We have not been able to make them social and interact with the people around us. We have not been able to teach them not to throw foods wrapping in plastic in the street. If we have been able, why our especially urban cities are filled with stinking garbage everywhere.This is the place where we modern have to focus and transfer the knowledge that we learnt from our elder generation

We have to teach the modern kids to play on the ground but not always with electronic devices. Playing with human will be meaningful than playing with inhuman. We have to teach them why Dashain is of great importance. We have to teach them whether there were demons or not or troubled to gods or not but it's true that harmony is necessary everywhere. If there is not harmony, there is conflict. If there is conflict, there is destruction. If there is destruction, there is crisis. Nepalese faced 10 years tenure of the so called Maoist revolution. This revolution was for the subaltern . We are now experiencing ourselves that it is only the ladders for the leaders to be in power. The poor in Rukum and Rolpas are in crisis but the leaders who lured them to follow for their rights, are they getting? Now so called up starters leaders changed their standard from slippers to expensive shoes, branded watch, imported jail and clothes, branded car and a castle in towns but still the dreamers are dreaming for a loaf of bread, a plate full of rice and a glass of milk on side and a hut for sound sleep. Let them learn how equality foster. how we can eliminate poverty and illiteracy. How we can empower them. How we can be human. May Ma Mahakali, Mahalaxmi, Mahasaraswoti bless all human to be human who have the vision to end all types of discrimination from our yards.
